The Bear Store
For fun on labor day, we took Lilly to Build a Bear for the first time. It was so much fun! We let her choose which bear she wanted to make, then we had it stuffed. She was a little unsure of this big stuffing machine and did not want to put her foot on the pedal to fill up the bear, so I helped her out. She was so excited about putting the heart into the bear, she picked out two hearts and kept wanting to chose several different hearts for her new bear. 
Daddy helped her fluff the bear and comb the hair. She really got into the brushing of the hair.
Then it was time to pick out some clothes. When I spotted the princess dresses, I knew this would be perfect for Lilly. So we let her choose which princess she wanted her new bear to become. Of course, Cinderella was it! We named her new friend "Cinderella Bear."
On the way home she was very tired. I managed to get a quick shot of the yawn with Cinderella Bear in her lap. She was patting her bear the whole way home and even kissed the little picture of Cinderella several times. I am sure the bear store will be one of her favorite spots in the mall now.

mike and i made maggie the same bear for christmas last year! we had fun doing it and we aren't even kids! love those sweet shoes lilly has on in the pix! praying for your day today. jenn

I was just catching up on your posts. I can totally relate to your feeling of frustration. Hannah is 21 months old today and I feel like in the past month she has taken on a whole new personality. She is testing me almost every other minute and it gets really hard. I mostly feel bad because I often feel like I am not handling it right and letting her get away with too much. But I am trying and praying that God will give me wisdom. Thanks for sharing your feeling. I can totally relate:) And like you said we do have so much to be thankful for beautiful healthy girls.
