Christmas happenings
This update is long overdue, so I apologize. We have been spending lots of time getting ready for Christmas. We got our tree up early this year (two weeks before Thanksgiving). Lilly and I were just so excited and ready to get it all down it happened so fast. And we went to Huntsville to celebrate Thanksgiving with Josh's family. While we were there we went ahead and had our Christmas with them as well. So I feel like we kinda skipped over Thanksgiving all together this year.
We took Lilly down to the Collierville square for a special Polar Express day aboard The Tennessean (that restaurant that is inside the train). Josh and I ate there for our 7th anniversary this year and had their steak. We were blown away - it is better than Ruth Chris!!! But they had a special day where the kids could come for a special reading of The Polar Express, with lunch, a real conductor, and silver bells! It was so much fun and Lilly got to go with her good friend Kara.
We also spent time in the square for the lighting of the the Christmas tree, where Santa made a special appearance and turned all the lights on. Here are a few pictures from some of our Christmas happenings:
