PINK

Well the new color in our house will be pink from here on out....as many of you already know - We are having Girl #2!!!! Of course, I love pink and am thrilled to get down all those itty bitty pink baby clothes and start checking out if they will really all work out. Lilly was born August 16, and the new little girl is due June 2. So I really think there will be lots of overlapping with the seasons. And of course the bedding and everything for the nursery is all packed away and ready to be pulled out again. I just keep thinking of all the money we will be saving, since we already have so many baby girl things!

We have not decided on any for sure names yet, we have a few we are trying to narrow down. So we will let you know when we decide. We are not big on keeping secrets, we just have to share our good news with everyone - it is too exciting to keep to ourselves.

Lilly is pretty excited about being a big sister, although she has already told two people that we are having a boy since we found out. She has also started being a little clingy and not wanting to be dropped off anywhere without mom or dad. I am hoping this phase will pass as it did once before. It is just so hard to know what is going on in their heads. She is "growing up" as she proudly informed Josh this morning though. She is officially moved into her Big Girl Room!! We painted and decorated and had her new room ready since this past summer. We would go in there and play talking about how it was the big girl room. Over the holidays she slept in a double bed at the grandparents house and loved it. So when we got home, we put the bed rail up on the big girl bed. All she could talk about was moving into that room and sleeping in there. So this past Saturday we moved all her stuffed animals, clothes, pictures, and stuff into the new room. She has been napping and sleeping in her new room and says she loves it! Praise God that this transition went over so well. We haven't broken the news that her old room will become the baby room - any suggestions from those moms of two out there. We still have to repaint the nursery and it will take us a while to get it all set. This is good, since I still have over 4 months to go. More updates and pics soon to come.....
