Ready for the Beach
This Saturday we are leaving for Ft. Morgan (right outside of Gulf Shores) for Lilly's first trip to the beach. Our summer began with splashing around in the baby pool on the back deck with Rudy...
These pictures were taken May 9. As soon as we got some warm weather, we got the pool out and started hanging out in the water. Lilly loves splashing around and really cracks up when she gets Rudy wet and he takes off all over the backyard running in circles! It is so funny!
We have been swimming at a friends pool, several times this summer and she loves that too! I can't wait to see what happens when she gets out on the beach and sees the waves coming in and the never ending supply of water. This will also be the first time Josh and I have stayed at the beach with my parents. We are renting a beach house with them...they couldn't miss out on all the fun with Lilly! We will definitely have some updates and lots of pictures after the trip. 
I have to also mention that Lilly's new favorite thing is eating Popsicles. She wants one every time we are out in the pool, when Josh comes home from work, and any time the freezer door is open. Her word for them is "pop-si-si."

LOVE THE SUNGLASSES! our friends from church took their family there for vacation and LOVED it. said it's so quiet and nice. mike and i will have to try it out. can't wait to see you when you get back! have a good safe trip! jenn
